For those who appreciate this wonderful yoga of mother love, I wanted to share what one of the great practitioners and one of the great pioneers, who brought this wisdom to the west, had to say about Mama’s Fire in his own hand.  Here is Bhagavan Das‘ testimonial of Mama’s Fire Gourmet Sauce, as I described in an earlier blog on the rough cut piece of lined note book paper.

Thank you sir for this testimonial it shall soon be framed.

So, if you are out in the Philly area, go out and get some mother love blessings and enjoy some Mama’s Fire!  If not you too can enjoy the love and blessing of Mama’s Fire Gourmet Sauce by buying it online.  Know that we are all volunteer and running on a tight shoe string and lots of love, so order and we will get it to you as soon as we can with Tara’s blessing and oceans of kindness.

Oceans and Oceans of love!

Mama’s Fire is doing Sacred Works in Haiti

I am remiss in sharing the good news, Mama’s Fire Gourmet Sauce and the Sacred Works Project are supporting an extraordinary storyteller and humanitarian named Laura Simms and her work in Haiti.  Her sacred Project is called KIDS THRIVE, rues des freres Camp, Port au Prince and as she so elegantly shared with me, she is using her vast understanding of the power of story to heal the trauma of  the children of Haiti in the rues des freres Camp.

If you are interested in giving to this wonderful cause, donations can be made out to the Sacred Works Project and sent directly to Sacred Works Project care of Laura Simms Storyteller 814 Broadway, New York, NY 10003.   You can also make donations on line at Causes for Good by clicking on this link.  More pictures and stories about this project will be coming soon.

I will conclude by sharing a youtube of a classic performance by Laura, the world renowned storyteller, of her original retelling of a Korean tale about unconditional love, kindness and interdependence. This story is a signature Laura Simms performance, it is extraordinary how her voice, gesture and her inimitable style weave the space and transform the listener as you become one with the tale, I do hope you enjoy it as it is an expression of her compassionate engagement. (filmed by Storytel Enterprises, 1986) cLauraSimms

Please support her as we are at the Sacred Works Project and Mama’s Fire Gourmet Sauce, for she is truly bringing a powerful healing to the children of Haiti.

Mama’s Fire Cristened their billboard!

The Billboard

I decided that as I have never had the experience of having a billboard before, I wanted to do something to remember it, so a month ago we christened it as ships are christened. And, of course because I wanted to be able to remember it and share it will you all, I filmed it.  Here is the you tube of us christening the billboard:

I also wanted to let everyone know that Mama’s Fire has been invited to the Philly  Shakti Festival for the very first time.  It is happening Saturday June 23rd 11am to 10pm in Philadelphia.  If you happen to be in the area it sounds like it will be a fun event.  For all the details click the festival link above.

Finally, I thought I might share a picture of The Mama’s Fire Gourmet Sauce and Sacred Works Project team. We took this moments after the billboard we christened.

Blessings and love from us all!

Mama’s Fire goes Spanish Thanks to Dagabi Cucina in Boulder, CO

I received exciting news this week and wanted to share with everybody, especially my readers in Boulder, Colorado.  Dagabi Cucina a Spanish Mediterranean restaurant in Boulder is using Mama’s Fire Tibetan BBQ sauce in on their pork ribs this weekend.

This looks like a good start but just wait and see what it turns into…

It looks so good I had to share it with everybody.  For those of you out in the area, this is a memory I would not want to miss, trying the sauce of someone you know and love in a restaurant, a dish cooked just for you by a master chef with the loving kindness of Mama’s Fire Gourmet Sauce.

Wow, I want to buy a plane ticket from Oregon to eat these ribs!

I am just overwhelmed with joy that the wonderful people at Dagabi Cucina have taken Mama’s Fire Gourmet Sauce and given it such an extraordinary presentation.  Here is the description of the dish in the menu for this weekend, if you are closer then I and have the means, I strongly recommend going down and giving this dish a try, I know I would if my commute wasn’t so far.

I am honored to have made the Himalayas BBQ sauce for this dish!

If all goes well I will find my way there and share this dish with the owner Noah who believed in Mama’s Fire enough to make this happen.  My thanks to you sir!
